Miss Saigon

Miss Saigon is one of Vietnam’s most iconic perfume brand, targeting 20-40 year-old active women. Saigon Cosmetics Corporation (SCC) entrusted centdegrés Vietnam with the task to upgrade the current offer and create a premium line. This is how was born Miss Saigon The Essence, a delicate creation combining Vietnamese culture and crafts with world-class design expertise and the best of perfumery art. The ambition is clear: create a premium perfume line that would represent Vietnam on the international stage, attracting both local and international clientele. The design agency has worked on this project for 2 years, relying on a network of complementary expertise, in particular perfume expert Firmenich and Pochet group. Three Perfume Masters from Firmenich who previously worked on perfume projects for the biggest international luxury brands, carefully created the accords of the three new perfumes. Oriental Pearl, The Lover and Aurora are the result of this collective intelligence, a productive co-creative process gathering all partners. centdegrés imagined a design concept mixing tradition and modernity, using some key Vietnamese culture codes. The agency drew inspiration from the delicate Art of Ao Dai, traditional outfit embodying both unique elegance and local craftsmanship, and from the conical hat, symbol of Vietnamese traditional heritage.

While topped with a cap of the shape of a conical hat, the bottle shows fluid and modern curves, referring to the Vietnamese traditional outfit. As a true ambassador of Vietnam, Miss Saigon The Essence embody the modern Vietnamese woman, proud of her origins and culture.
