HUAIHAI ROAD: 120 YEARS
ICONIC STREET CELEBRATION LOGO CREATION
Together with centdegrés, Huangpu District government worked on the creation of a logo design to celebrate the 120th Anniversary of the iconic Middle Huaihai road, in Shanghai.
Inspired by the sycamore leaves of Huaihai Road, the logo for the 120th anniversary of the establishment of Huaihai Middle Road is designed to be romantic and modern.
The Sycamore trees on both sides of the road have accompanied Huaihai Road through countless seasons and have witnessed the rising of the nation.
The signs in the middle of the logo cleverly combine the English abbreviation of Huaihai Road (HHL) with the 120th anniversary numbers.
The surrounding circle embodies the cultural spirit of “inclusiveness and openness”, representing both the classical heritage and the integration of innovation.
