Happiness is an experience intimately linked to beauty and it is this bright and powerful notion that lies at the heart of the new brand Hapsode. A combination of the words “HAppy” and “epiSODE”, the brand was created in Korea by Kim Hoi-Joon with the backing of a Chinese cosmetics giant, PROYA.

Hapsode chose centdegrés to materialize this unprecedented alliance between a Chinese commercial superpower and Korean cosmetics expertise – a first in the Asian beauty market. The agency worked on every front to make Hapsode the beautiful and sensitive brand dreamed by its creators. This included the creation of a logo and brand platform, packaging and boutique design, artistic direction and audiovisual productions…

A fresh and cheerful logo; simple and natural products made from the world’s best ingredients sourced from around the globe; simple packaging with pure lines and a beautiful leaf-like logo embedded on the bottle, leaving a mark pleasing to the eye and the gesture…

All of centdegrés’ talent poles worked together to transform this new brand into a true emotional experience both audacious and sensitive that consumers will be able to discover and try without limits in the brand’s clear and welcoming boutiques. The first three retail stores have already opened in China and a Korean site is on its way: 2000 points-of-sale are expected in the upcoming months…
