CMG

A refreshing update

With 23 sport clubs in Paris and a several around 30 years old, it was definitely time for CMG Sports Club to get a makeover. Beyond the simple esthetic aspect, it was also the perfect occasion to thoroughly re-evaluate what a 21st century sports club should offer its clients.

The group launched a contest that centdegrés won with its “no more walls” project: prioritizing large, light and fun spaces instead of small, confined rooms in which clients come to work out in a fun and easy way. It also becomes a space to co-work, eat and relax… The gym reveals walls covered in humoristic motivational mantras, welcoming collective zones and welcome-containers that can be moved to a park or the Seine riverbank for any special event.

Bleachers have been set to relax or take a break on, and the floor designed to resemble a sports field. Designated areas were created to meet with your coach one-on-one including revisited shades of blue, yellow and orange. The changing rooms are chic and comfortable and for each of the 23 clubs, a logo that we can all identify with…

centdegrés created the entire concept, architectural and graphic lines and supervised the renovation of the first two spaces this summer in Auteuil and Grenelle. In the fall, both new and frequent visitors discovered a new club, open to life and where clients never get bored during their workouts.
